The CLAAS name stands for professional equipment, from the smallest DISCO model to the largest. Equipped with the MAX CUT mower bar, all CLAAS mowers deliver unmatched durability, optimal crop quality, and the versatility to adapt to any sized operation.
Trailing success. The strength and quality found in large CLAAS triple mowers are also found in the DISCO side pull mowers. Fitted with the proven MAXCUT cutterbar the DISCO 3150 TRC / TC machines are right at home in fields large or small. Tine conditioners are perfect for green rye, triticale, or other grassy stem crops. Leafy legume crops are gently conditioned with meshing roll conditioners. Either option makes sure your mowed crop dries quickly and that quality hay is harvested season after season.
Features may include:Spring floatation. Two spring packs transfer the weight of the mower head to the chassis and running gear so the mower can react to changes in field contours. Ground pressure can be changed by adjusting the spring tension with the attached hand crank. Two parallelogram mechanisms center the mower on the chassis and guide the mower up and rearwards to clear objects in the field. This allows the cutterbar to cross over objects rather than push through them.
Swath shaping. The DISCO 3150 TRC and 3150 TC come standard with infinitely variable left and right swath plates. Making narrow windrows to prevent sun bleaching or wide windrows to maximize drying is simple with the adjustment of a locking handle.
Variable cut height. The cut height is infinitely adjustable between 1.2 and 2.8 inches (30-70 mm) via a crank lever. Along with the spring suspension, this ensures a uniform stubble height for consistent regrowth.
250 hour driveshaft lubrication.A swiveling drive head centers the drawbar behind the tractor but also keeps the PTO driveline straight in all operating positions. This reduces wear and a 250-hour lubrication interval on all drive shafts keeps maintenance to a minimum. Enjoy the benefit of maximum uptime during critical hay harvesting windows.
